Acne is a skin disease resulting from the action of hormones and other substances in the sebaceous glands of the skin and hair follicles. These factors often lead to plugged pores and outbreaks of lesions commonly known as grain and Zits.

 

Acne lesions occur mostly on the face, back, chest, neck and shoulders. Thus, acne is a term for plugged pores [black and white], and even more coarse grains [cysts and nodules] that appear in different parts of the body.

How to acne develops?

Acne is a disease of the pilosebaceous unit [PSU], which is composed of sebaceous glands connected to a channel, called follicle, which contains a layer of fine hairs. The sebaceous glands produce an oily substance called sebum that normally empties into the skin through the opening of the follicles. When the walls of the plugged follicle breaks, spilling it all starts as sebum, bacteria and remove the skin cells, leading to injuries and buttons.

The factors that make acne worse

Although the exact cause of acne is unknown, but doctors have a strong conviction that the result of several factors. One of the main factors include burst of androgens that occur more during puberty. The factors of acne include heredity or genetics. Children tend to acne and their parents often affected by the use of drugs like lithium and androgens.

The excess secretion of oil from the skin after using products such as moisturizers and cosmetics.

Types of acne

The use of essential oils like lavender, chamomile, calendula, juniper and mint, almond oil on the skin gives effective results. You should also start adding zinc supplements to your diet and avoid caffeine, junk food and salty food.

Apart from these recipes at home, you can also prescribe medicines that contain benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, sulfur, Azelaic acid, vitamin A and OTC topical medicines to recover fast from acne.
